Love the shotshells. They pattern nicely, hit hard and run flawlessly in my new production A5 (I’ve had issues with other shotshells. Even with 1oz game loads) Two dislikes: Can you please package them in boxes with a label like civilized human beings (after a few miles in upland country, the writing started to wear off) It would be nice if you sold them in a case of 250 like everyone else does.

I Have been using the #7 in my 20Ga. O/U and # 7's in my 16Ga. O/U 15 shots 14 birds 1 Miss. The People at Boss are a Pleasure to work with.

Two shots, two grouse so far with the Boss #7s on PA public lands! They both dropped stone dead, just the same as if hit with regular lead loads. The Boss loads do seem to pattern a bit more open through my 70-year-old Model 12 with a fixed modified choke barrel than I expected them to (lead patterns much tighter in my gun, for whatever reason), but that’s not a big issue and in fact probably better for the thick grouse woods anyway.

Used them on rail and snipe this past season. Great shells. Kills them stone cold! Looking forward to using them on Teal and othe ducks.

Ive been a gun dealer for 38 years and bird hunter for 44 years.Ive used every shotgun shell thats come along. My favorite upland gauge has always been 16ga. Boss #7s are fantastic for my MT huns or KS Quail hunts!Stop looking for anything better it doesnt exist. If you switch to sage grouse or Pheasants just use Boss #6s.Same results.

Won’t be hunting until next week in Wisconsin but got to pattern in my FAIR SxS using IC, Mod, IM and Full choke tubes. These copper plated Bismuth shells patterned very evenly and true to choke percentages at 40 yards. I did not have time to try a more open CYL or IC AT 25 yards but will do so tomorrow. With heavy leaf cover will start out with CYL/Mod but will have IC Available if cover is more open. Next week I’ll have a review on game!

My wife and I have used the16 ga. Boss Bismuth 7's for wild bobwhites, ruffed grouse, and woodcock with excellent results since they were first available. This year I used them for teal hunting, They were deadly on teal. I screwed the Polychoke down to to Imp. Mod and the teal were often dead in the air. Boss produces a great American made product at reasonable prices.
