I've hunted waterfowl for over two decades. This is by far the best nontoxic load I've found. It hits hard and fast. It's a sigh of relief when you absolutely crush a sandhill crane and see it ball up and drop to the ground knowing it's fatal with a single shot. Not having to chase a sailer and shoot it again when it gets up and attempts to fly away again. Boss is the more ethical kill. It's more cost effective only having to shoot once instead of two or three times with a 3.5" shell.

I have hunted ducks and geese for years and from patterning shells to experience in the field I have learned the significant advantage higher density shotshells provide. I am glad I found Boss. Your price is great for the load you provide. I haven't got to use them in the field yet, but I am looking forward to it. Thanks.

I shot 3” 1-1/2 oz. #2’s at late season Canadas last season with very good results. I recently patterned 3” 1-5/8 oz. #2’s and had a consistent and dense pattern at 30 yards.

Boss 1 5/8 3” #2 are great shells, I bought a case, 4 star review due to Boss doesn’t include 2 boxes anymore in their case purchases and the Charcoal Money Bag is not near the quality as the sage color I received in my last purchase.

Contacted Boss before a Spring Conservation Snow Goose Hunt in South Dakota.
Went with 12ga 3" #2. They dropped the birds! Outfitter even knew the guys at Boss on a personal level.

Used the boss shotshells during an alberta goose hunt. guide said he could always tell who hit a goose, in that the boss shells I fired produced a more pronounced effect and result.

The best big bird load out there! I’ve taken tundra swans 30-40 yards and plenty of Canadian geese 20-50 with these loads! Very confident with them at any range. They will drop big birds no problem!

Haven’t tried the #2’s yet as the season is over. However, the shorty # 5’s and 3” 3’s are what I used all season. I still had some cripples as these aren’t a magic bullet. But I pulled down big honkers with the #5’s at 30+ yards while duck hunting. Doubtful steel #2’s would have done that. I also scotch doubled 2 big honkers at 35 yards with the #5’s by shooting both in the head. Looking forward to the larger loss for the late season big honkers with their armor on. I listened to several podcasts with Brandon and Lee, and I drank the bismuth juice. I’m on my 4th case in 10 months. Have plenty for the upcoming season.
