12 GA 2-3/4" MAG 1-1/4 oz. #5

Loved the quick delivery on my order, less than 36 hrs from purchase. Loads preformed very well. Only thing that caught my eye was the crimp on the loads appeared to look loose. Gave the appearance that load was short on bb count. When shaken, load appears to be less than tight. No comparison to your 3 inch 20 ga. loads , which were packed tight. All in all very pleased with the performance. IMPRESIVE!!

These babies are amazing! The knock down power is incredible and the pattern is perfect. Make sure you know your range in the field and test your patterns before you hunt, I literally exploded the first two ducks I killed at 20 yds with a full choke. Once I opened my choke to an I/C it was clean one shot kills over decoys at the same distance. I will only shoot these for ducks ever!

The Shorty #5's are the boss. Clean kills out to 40+ yards. I'm a believer in Boss. Also not bad on treetop squirrels.

Used these this past weekend and the ducks didn't even stand a chance. With these we were able to shoot our limit little over an hour. After shooting these, I see no need to ever shoot 3" shells again.

I thought the days of killing ducks with lead was over. These non toxic shells are as good as lead. Love the #5 shot. Will never buy steel again.

Very happy with the performance of these 2 3/4 5’s after 4 hunts. They work in close and very effective at distance. Would recommend and will buy again.

I bought these as an option to return my dad’s 1961 Ithaca 37 to the duck Marsh. The gun has a 30 inch fixed full choke and could not shoot steel. Previously bismuth was cost prohibitive, but these Boss shot shells are competitively priced with premium steel loads. I ordered them Monday night before Ohio’s waterfall opener and they showed up less than 48 hours later, on Wednesday afternoon. Shooting them over several weekends, also in another gun, their performance seem to be good, knocking down more birds than steel loads. I plan to head out a few more times a season to get a better idea on how they perform and will likely order some more, in larger shot sizes for goose season.

Bought the "shorty" for a '51 Sauer SxS choked Mod/Full to use as a late season pheasant and sharptail gun. I'm very impressed with how they pattern and will shoot this round confidently to 45 (mod) and 50 (full) yards.

When I saw the ad for BOSS, with old guys carrying vintage shotguns, I decided to try them. I recently inherited my fathers Winchester mod 12 skeet grade with a Cutts compensator. My dad hunted with it , and called it "old never miss". With the modified tube and some boss 5s I shot a limit of fat green heads and widgeons.That load of 5s folded them , DOA, when they hit the water. No need for swatter loads to finish cripples and swimmers.BOSS brought back the magic of that model 12. THANKS!
