These are great loads for shooting ducks within 35 yards, as well as prairie grouse and pheasants on non-toxic hunting areas.

Absolutely awesome ammo. They really performed with a tighter choke. I’m shooting a .685 and .690 constriction and it crushes them..Works beautifully as well in my old Auto 5 and Remington 1100 both with 30” full barrels. Super fast shipping and an outstanding product. What’s not to Love !!!

Been shooting 2 cases a year for 4 or 5 years, the pattern on the 5’s is like a turkey gun. When you pull the trigger gravity takes over!!!! I went 2 or 3 years without cleaning my gun an it never jammed 1 time. Try that with an other shell!!!!

I heard about these shells 2 years ago (2021) from fellow hunters on public land and over heard them saying how much they reminded them of lead and me being in my 20s never seen those days so I thought y not try a few boxes and boy was it a game changer, I hunt the illinois river every year all season long so I see anything from teal to mallards to canvasbacks to goldeneye and I would have never guessed how much more knocked down power this bismuth has over steel, chasing diving river ducks is a thing of the past!! And another thing is geese over decoys on the river ( 15-30 yards) early and late season these 5s absolutely crush them it's unbelievable!!! Another awesome plus to these loads is that my grandpa handed down his old belgium made A5 with a fixed full choke, these shells pattern very very well out of that barrel and never have to worry about damaging the barrel.

Superior pellet count, it just seems to hit better than steel. I really liked this ammo. I love the fact it's safe in older guns and tight chokes. Worked great on pheasants and ducks. I plan on buying more of these before the upcoming season!

Bought a case of 5's for my daughter's birthday, excellent shipping. We'll see how they work this fall!3076A

I never would have dreamed I would have ever shot a 2 3/4 inch number 5 in my waterfowling exploits. Yet here I am writing a review based on a great year going through hundreds of Boss Shotshells in every climate and hunting situation. They never failed me and the harvest was ripe. These are a great waterfowling load that will not beat you to death. I truly loved shooting Boss this past season and will be ordering a few more cases this year. Thank ya Boss

Love SxS sidelocks. I reluctantly transitioned to 3" steel and a BSS with advent of non-toxics, but itched to get the sidelocks out of the safe. Solution found. Boss puts ducks down like nobody's business with older fixed chokes and destroys late season pheasants like the hammer of Thor, I'm kicking myself. Divers that used to take a multiple shots to put down are now consistently dead in the air. My younger shell-spitter brothers in layout used to give my 2-3/4" SxS jaundiced looks. No more. They've converted to Boss after my givng them a handfull tp try. Boss Bismuth = DOA divers, whether bluebills, redheads, longtails, or big bodied scoters. Canada Geese and western Sandhill Cranes are back at ranges that resurrect the days before non-toxics. To us old guys, Boss looked expensive - until I realized that I finished an entire season with one bag, lost no lost cripples, and I would have easily been into my second or third flat of 3" steel. This season's order is already in.

I used these shells and knocked down everything from early-season teal to late-season mallards. I seemed to have fewer cripples. I really noticed the difference however in late-season Goldeneyes. In years past, when I harvested Goldeneye when shooting steel shot, I would always find steel shot in the ducks breasts. Not so with Boss. The bismuth passes through the dense breast. These shells have excellent knock down and killing power. I definitely recommend them!

The bismuth helped me put more ducks on the water. Love the shells and the quick shipping!
