Consistent kill shots, clean and shooting less ammo overall. 50 years waterfowling and best performance I've ever shot. Thanks much A +

These things straight up work. I couldn’t write it more cut and dry than that. I love to run these things through my 1100. Went on a pheasant hunt recently throwing these #4’s through a mod choke and was consistently knocking down roosters further (40+ yards) and deader than everybody else who was using lead #5. Highly recommend them. Don’t look back

I didn’t want them to be as good as they are because it’s hard for me to justify the price… that said they’re worth it. Idk what they’re doing different but these shells hit harder than anything I’ve ever shot.

I'm a bit of a ballistics nerd, so when I evaluate shotgun ammo, I look at pellet count, pellet energy at 50 yard (via a ballistics app and then I convert energy [ft-lbs] to ft-lbs per square inch using pellet diameter), recoil, cost, my bank account, and I compare the ballistics numbers to the old load of 16 gauge copper-plated lead #5's. This load was close enough. It likes to be choked and found best results with full and extra full chokes. Looking forward to the season. Recoil is very acceptable. This will probably be my load for rest of the hunting years (ducks, geese, pheasants, sharp tails)---that's how well the numbers worked out.

Ordered a case of 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch #4 shells which were delivered promptly in two days. My son & I will field test them in our annual South Dakota pheasant hunt in early November 2023. It will be my 58th year & son’s 28th year hunting SD pheasants. We have a little bit of experience with different shells & their ability to knock down pheasants. We will report back on the effectiveness of Boss Shot Shells after our hunt.

Have used another Premium shot shell for nearly years and are now switching over to Boss. Why? They are better. High quality non-toxic shot shells that kill efficiently and humanely. Oh, and they make them in 2 3/4” , allowing me to shoot my SxS and O/U shotguns. Awesome!

Bought the 2.75 #4’s for a late season Snow Goose hunt. Shooting a 26” barrel with factory modified choke crushed the geese over decoys. Shuts them off so quickly I was able to triple my first hunt with these shells. Two other goose hunts earlier in the season I was using 3” steel BB’s and 2’s. Shot a lot of geese, but didn’t finish them as quickly as the Boss Shells. Impressed and can’t wait to use them on ducks in the future. Good job, Boss guys!

Like most waterfowlers, I've tried many shells. I've had good success within reason with all shells but nothing stands out like Boss. I bought a mixed bag of #3/5's, #4's and #5's. I bought the shells in between the split season so I didn't have time to pattern them. I didn't over think it and put the factory improved modified choke in it. Every single shot was a bird on the lanyard. Not one bird needed a follow up shot. Including mallards, divers and giant geese! If that's not impressive, I don't know what is. For my combo of mallards and divers I'm going to stick with the #4's. You can't go wrong with any of them so buy a few sizes and see what you like, you'll be impressed.

I go back and forth between the 20 gauge 3" 3's and the shorty 4's in my 12. Need to order a new recoil spring for my 20 so I switched back to the 12 for the late season/split for ducks. Absolutely smashed them. Nice to have options! Thanks Boss!

I shoot the old Side by Sides. An English Hammer Gun and three Fox shotguns. I Duck hunt every day of the season. Your shells remind me of the ole Days with lead! They will scalp a Duck. Thanks for a great product.
