BossxMüller Warchief Choke Tube

The Warchief choke I purchased for my new new SBE 3 28 gauge exceeds my expectations. I shot wild SD pheasants this fall with (3) different kinds of shot (lead, bismuth and the new copper). They all worked flawlessly, with the new copper patterning the beat on the 40 yard board, although the pheasants couldn’t tell the difference. Thank you for a great choke for the little Benelli 28.

Best Hunting choke i have ever had. Use a 20 guage and with this choke have no problems taking any shot I would with a 12. I was concerned that it may pattern differently with the new war chief copper loads but have seen no difference this season from the last two I have hunted with it. Great job Boss

I waited until after I had patterned the choke for the review. I had no doubt after all the testing that Mr. Muller does that it would pattern well. I just wanted to see how far I could shoot without holes in the pattern. It's good for 40 yards with Warchief 5's, but 50 yards is a little too far. That's OK for a 20 gauge for me. I'm looking forward to using it this fall.

I’m pleased with the patterns I get using a combo of two bismuth 3’s or 4’s and the third shell being wolfram 9’s. The bismuth loads pattern 80% in 30” at 50 yd and the TSS 9’s was 90% at 50yd. #8 TSS from a custom load does the same and is the size I prefer for geese. I would like to see Boss start offering their TSS loads in #8 size cause it has appx 80 more pellets than #7’s but 8’s still have enough penetrating energy to 60yd to ethically kill even with body hits.
