Boss Unleaded | 12 Gauge

Took the #7 unleaded for a spin Labor Day on doves and couldn’t believe how good these were. I was shooting a Muller decoy choke and killed several doves at least 45-50 yards away. They shoot good, hit hard and run clean. Way more pellets in a #7 steel than 7.5 lead and I think it shows. My kill shot ratio went way up after trying these shells on doves. Birds inside 35 yards didn’t have a chance and the ones further were still in big trouble!

Ok I was skeptical at first, using steel instead of lead. However I swear I’m stoning more dove with the steel over lead. Every once in a while you will drop one and the poor little guy will be still alive when you or the pup retrieves him. I’ve had less issues with that with boss. It does drop faster then lead so you just aim a little higher and you’ll get it down. With a limit of dove in the freezer I’m more then pleased to keep boss in my arsenal. The less lead in my family system the better off we all will be.

She flushed her first quail and some chucker’s and Boss unleaded did the rest. It was a great day!

I ordered a couple of boxes of the 2 3/4" #7's for the Dove field and they worked well, I started the season with my old side by side and some other shotshell brands that I had leftover from last year, after a couple of hunts I have decided to retired the Old side by side for a new SX4, and I was please with the performance of the shotshells. I will be buying more!

I was struggling to find a good steel load for public land dove hunting and Unleaded showed significantly more performance in the field over three other competitive manufacturers. Payload and velocity is right where I want it to be.

Shot the 12 gauge #7 this pass weekend . They shot great! Improved cylinder and modified chokes. Gonna definitely try more of your products.

Bought these to try out this year for Dove season. I run an A5 and my buddy shoots a Beretta A400. He and I split a case and we both had excellent performance from the shells. Never had a single misfire and never had a feeding problem either. Would definitely buy again.

Ordered and received these fantastic loads! My son and I hunted DOVE in Missouri this past opening and to say this load is good is a understatement. Shot pattern kept up to the dodging speedy winged wonders, I highly recommend this load and cant wait for pheasants

I bought a case of these in 7's and headed to Missouri for opening day of dove season, as I do every year since we still can't hunt doves in Michigan (don't get me started on that). I was skeptical because they are steel, and, quite honestly, I've grown to hate steel. Doves aren't too hard to kill, though, so I figured I would give these a chance. I'm glad I did because they worked great! Killed doves stone dead. I have shot other brands of steel and had less success. I could tell Boss's R&D team did their homework and got these honed in where they need to be. I got a limit this year and have plenty left over for the next couple trips. It's all I'm taking from this point forward. Thanks!

I took these loads to africa with me. I used 20ga #7's. I killed doves, pheasants and guinea fowl. I noticed a significant increase in pattern density vs lead. I had no cripples and was knocking down birds well past 40 yards. I won't be using anything else for upland in the future. This product earned my business.
