Ordered 2 boxes of 3/5 shot 28gauge shells for my new 28o/u. Hunt a lot of public hunting areas in iowa for pheasants and have to use non toxic shot.Shot a few at the trap range and they shot good. Have used boss 16 gauge the last couple of years so I knew these would be good.

I had been shooting skeet with 28 and decided I wanted to try it on ducks. My son got me a couple boxes of Boss shells and we gave it a try. I fired 11 times in 2 hunts and bagged 8 ducks. It was so much fun that I ordered 2 more boxes to have on hand.

I bought a couple boxes of this load and one of straight 5s. Too early to have tested them on birds but I'm looking forward to it.

Bought for my son to have some versatility from a single load and these will work great for anything from Turkeys to geese to pheasant. Pattern great out of the gun. Will be buying more from Boss in the future.

I ordered a case of the 7/8oz #7 and when I received the order it wasn't what I ordered. They were 12ga #7, an email was sent out and the correct shells were on my door step three days later. Awesome customer service and cannot wait to try these out

We are looking forward to using BOSS in the future. First time out we are happy with the results. Ordering from BOSS is great, fast and easy!

I love the company and the people at boss… but this is my third case so far and I have to say that the on-game performance isn’t close to what I expected it to be. It patterns great. Cycles well. However I am finding far more crippled birds than I ever had with steel. Pellets that are broken and fragmented in game especially when impacting bone. I’ve had to shoot almost every single bird multiple times using the copper/bismuth. Especially larger birds even shooting them in the head at close range multiple follow ups are needed.

We primarily hunt with 28 gauges on upland birds and my wife and I wanted to hunt waterfowl with them as well. A lot of the places we hunt have ponds so we can have a combo hunt if we carry boss shells. These shells crush ducks, I can’t wait to try them on some geese.

I have not had a chance to pattern these but I have faith that they will pattern just as good as my 20ga shells. I look forward to being in the blind and taking some green heads with these shells.
