Boss Target | 12 Gauge

Bought the 250 pk with the idea to use the same shell, weapon, and chokes for dove, bluewing teal, and summer tune up. So far, very pleased with performance on doves and teal. Most of the teal were layup-type shots in the decoys at 20 -30yds but the loads didn't produce any cripples. Crossing shots at 25 - 35 on mourning doves were effective, but did see a few more cripples on doves than with the teal. Yes, it's a target load, but it's still a quality shell that does the job when you ask it to handle jobs at ranges it's built for. Only disappointment thus far is the amount of rust I see on the shells themselves after getting some water splashed into the shell bag. Again, it's built for an economy level target load, not a game load, so it is what it is. Great job, keep up the good work.

Just returned from a dove hunt on a federal wildlife refuge where non toxic shot is required. Used the #7 steel in my Mossberg 500 and it simply smashed the doves. Love it for use where lead is not allowed. I'll be buying more!

Nice low recoil. Shooting clays with them it crushed them all. Shot targets at 30yds to see grouping we with IC, and M chokes and it was very uniform shot. No failure to feed instances. Highly recommend these shells.

Very happy with my purchase, shipping was super fast, price was on point, and shells functioned flawlessly in the new semi-auto! Now if only I could hit some clays... Will be back for more.

It patterns great, shoots soft, and does everything lead does even at 40+ yards with even more pellets and at pretty much the same price as any other top tier shell… but I had a lot of problems with the high brass. It would bulge out and cycle poorly in my a300 and I even got a few stuck hulls in my 688. Otherwise, it’s been the best shell I’ve ever used and if they fix that, it’ll be the only one I use

#8 steel works fine for trap shooting (16yd). Very satisfied. Great product!

I recently purchased boss target ammo and went to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. The ammo performed beautifully allowing me to shoot better than I ever have there hitting a new PR. Its patterning allowed me to not only hit any rabbits thrown my way but destroy any distance target that everyone else was struggling with. It’s shot smooth and clean out of my shotgun I will definitely be buying another case soon. I highly recommend it to any experienced or novice shooter, you won’t be disappointed.

These things absolutely slaughter clays and doves!

I’m shooting’s a Benelli M2 in 20 gauge and I have cycling issues with light loads . The Boss target preformed flawlessly and patterns extremely well. I am looking forward to trying this in 12 gauge and I will be trying the waterfowl loads in my SBE3
