For years I’ve used my 28 gauge red label for teal. Last year I got a SBE3 28 and had a great time with it. Reading reviews I got 23/4 “ 5’s for teal and 3” 3/5’ for big ducks. I’m looking forward to the performance.

I cant tell yal from being a 12gauge guy and then moving onto a 28gauge this ammo has kill everything from flying chucker's , ring necks and i really looking forward to hammering geese and ducks . i was using a kickshighflyer choke in my SBE3 and birds were flyinhg off the ridge at tree top and i was smashing them.

I shot the 28 gauge 3” 3/5 all season from teal to big honkers in Colorado. We decoy all our birds within 30 yards and it hammers them. I don’t think I will bring my 12 gauge out to play anymore. I think I sold 2 28 gauges this season to guys that I would let shoot it and made them believers of the round!

I have hunted big Canada geese in Wyoming and the Northern front range of Colorado for years and have always used a 12 gauge with either 3” Bb or 3.5 BB with aftermarket chokes and have smashed geese with this combo. This year I bought a 28ga and the 3” 3/5 shot mix boss ammo and I have been extremely impressed what this ammo does to geese out to 40 yards with factory chokes!!! It hits just as hard as my 12ga with BBs!!! Absolutely unbelievable!!! I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t done it and seen it for myself!!!! I love this ammo and I love the fact that I’m not getting kicked like a mule everytime I pull the trigger on my little 28!!! Amazing guys give them a try!!!

I’ve shot the 23/4in 28ga #4s last season mostly for ducks and a few geese when I thought the situation was right. This year with the 3in load in #3/5 I plan to almost exclusively shoot this shell. I patterned this load and know my best effective range. Choke it tight and kill them stone dead or miss! Less cripples is the goal.

Man I wish I could post a picture with this.
Head shots almost decapitate with these bad boys.

Had shoulder surgery have not been able to shoot anything with much in recoil. I had traded for a Benelli Ethos Sport in 3 inch 28 gauge. Been shooting this load with a Jebs full or a Carlson Improved Modified about the same patterning. I have personally killed duck at 40 yards dead and maybe farther for a few. Decoying geese dead within the 30 yard mark. Very impressed and enjoying the lighter recoil. BE SAFE Keep your feet dry!!

Recent hunt to Canada. Shot the 28 gauge SBE III 28 gauge with BOSS stack and killed snows consistently at 40 to 50 yards. I didn’t use my 12 gauge the entire trip. 28 gauge Boss kills on impact no cripples and no chasing. One shot one kill

I have shot BOSS shells since 2018 and started out with 12ga 4. Now, I shoot 20ga and 28ga 3/5 shells almost exclusively. Why take the punishment from a 12ga when subgauges are just as effective. These shells have performed above and beyond my exceptions, not that I was surprise for a BOSS shell. As another reviewer said, I have found they pattern best out of the factory Benelli chokes. The shells are worth every penny. A Dave Smith review & approval should tell you all you need to know about the quality.

Bought a case for my new Benelli ethos cordoba B.E.S.T these shells , in my gun pattern exceptionally well using the factory full crio choke my gun came with. After having 4 kids and taking time off from waterfowling, i was able to take a brand new weapon, a case of new shells, and dump a solo limit 3 days in a row. These lil guys slap. HARD.when i miss, i miss clean, but when i do my part, these guys eat. Great for ducks, geese in the kill hole, and pheasants in no tox areas where theyre skittish and flushing a bit further away.
