Ive used Boss 3” #4s the past two seasons with excellent results on all kinds of waterfowl and situations in Arkansas. They have become my “go to, do it all”shell whether shooting specks at 35-45 yards, decoying greenheads in the timber or pass shooting late season pintails. They are lethal when used in combo with my Rob Roberts choke. $325 seemed pricey when I bought my first case but I find myself using way fewer shells than the black clouds #2s I used for years before. Best of all, there is absolutely no reason to beat your shoulder up with 3.5 steel shells anymore

I recently bought 4 shot but it is for the coming season. I have used 2 and five shot with excellent results. The 2’s were excellent on pass shots at Snows out to 60 yards. The fives were great on ducks over decoys out to 40 yards. I am very happy with both. The 4’s should be just as good.

I haven't shot this load yet because I hunted exclusively with the 20 ga 3" #4's this past year and enjoyed it so much the 12 stayed at home.
I did shoot the 12 ga 3" #5's and 20 ga 3" #5's year before last and when combined with the right choke they are hammers over decoying ducks.
We hunted more open waters this past year and I switched to #4's for a little extra range. The 4's out of my 20 were impressive. Hopefully I'll shoot the #4's out of the 12 ga this coming year and if I do I'm certain they'll do great.

Just like lead. For the price, this stuff is unbeatable. Inside of 50 yards, if you are even remotely on target with proper swing and lead, cheek to stock, this stuff will kill. Some people brag about 60 and 70 yards, but I still prefer tungsten for that. Hunting 3 to 4 times a week, and shooting limits each time for almost 3 months straight, I might have had two or three times for one follow up on a cripple, other than that dead as a freaking graveyard. Saved me from using a bunch of tungsten matrix and hevi shot, and this stuff is phenomenal for late season rooster pheasants. Freaking fatal. Keep it up Boss !!!

I’ve shot a lot of different loads from Boss and they all work great but this one has worked best for me. Patterns great and hits hard. Works great for geese or ducks. SX3 full choke. Always fast shippings! Thanks Boss!

Highly recommend the Boss Shotshells. Fewer cripples and follow up shots makes them more affordable than shooting birds multiple times with steel shot!!

I hunted with a guy shooting Boss shells and saw how he was flat out knocking the birds hammer dead so I thought I would give these a try. For 25 years I used different brands and never had anything that hit like these!
Yes they maybe a little higher but they are worth every penny. One shot drop! It made me look like a better shot and the guys I hunt with noticed also.
I’m saving money shooting these with less follow ups and chasing cripples.

These are the best shells I have used since Lead. The Service was perfect. Hopefully they can reduce the price.

No need to order 3 1/2 inch shells any more. 3 inch are more than adequate

This load hits hard and is a good choice for both ducks and geese.
