This is my third season using Boss. No more knock down and fly aways (typically found when using steelshot) . The 3" 3/5 shot is most impressive, if your on the birds, they are dealer than fried chicken before they hit the ground. Great product, great price and fast shipping. Couldn't be happier!

starting out my duck hunting carrier i was using steel loads like everyone else and i didnt like how much i had to chase down cripples that sailed off. with boss i rarely have that problem. Even on buffle heads im stoning them. all the divers that ive been hunting from Redheads to ring necks and buffle heads, these 3/5 are hitting them hard. The only time I switch is to Warchiefs 3' #1 for a upcoming swan hunt. i will write a review when that hunt if over.

A buddy turned me onto Boss shells. It’s amazing how effective the 3/5 loads are in smacking the birds. More and more guys I hunt with are buying them for the same reason. Worth the money

This is my 10th case of shells in the last 3 years for my boys and I. I just ordered the War chief products as well. Boss puts out an amazing product.

Hunted with guys that used these last year and they really bragged on them. So I ordered a case to see for myself and I’m glad I did. Season hasn’t started yet but after pattering my shotgun , and I’m glad I did. Great coverage on my targets at both 30 and 45 yards. Now just to wait on the ducks to fly!

Purchased 2 cases-the price was great compared to others. I was just surprised when the bulk case of 200 shells arrived loose in a big plastic bag. I haven't had a chance to use them yet and have never purchased this brand before.

To begin, I’m fairly new to waterfowl hunting. In my mid teens I shot skeet competitively, so shotgunning is in my blood. Having just begun waterfowl hunting with steel shot I wasn’t happy with my performance. Certainly not like my “glory days”. I took plenty of shots thinking to myself “I was on that bird, why didn’t it drop? Am I really this rusty?”. Lots of feathers fell, but the birds weren’t. I was struggling bad. Fuelled by the frustration of missed birds, and a friend’s suggestion that my go to shell wasn’t great; I took to researching. I became aware of steel alternatives. My favourite YouTube channel “Surviving Duck Season” did an amazing video on modern waterfowl loads. He is an avid BOSS supporter. I decided to check out the BOSS website. Having a few questions about shot size I emailed them. Brittani responded very quickly with all the answers and her reply referenced specific parts of my email (including which choke I was running). She certainly knows her stuff, and gave me a genuine response. So I pulled the trigger and ordered her recommendation of the 3/5 mix shell. The order came in 3 days, with order tracking the whole way. I immediately pattern tested them and my goodness, they looked beautiful. My immediate thought was “if I connect with a bird it’s going to be talking to Jesus before a feather touches the ground.” Fast forward to opening day. The first flocked rolled in, cupped up nice and it was my time to shine. I pulled the trigger and absolutely hammered a greater Canada goose. BANG, it was all over. I was in disbelief. The same sight picture I had many times before but with a very different outcome. I continued the hunt performing better then ever before. Day two; the exact same result. I’m pulling up on birds with CONFIDENCE. If a bird fly’s away, it’s on me. No more questioning whether or not I hit the bird. And that feels great. I’m 1000% a believer. The 3/5 mix is tearing up big honkers here in Canada.
Here’s the one con of shooting BOSS shells: You’re going to become equivalent to a vegan or crossfitter; telling everyone how good BOSS is and why they should try it. LOL. But hey, you’re gonna be hammering birds and they aren’t.
