I bought some War Chief shells for some late season hunting of Pheasants in North Dakota. They really seemed to help since the birds are fully feathered and tend to get up a little further than normal. I believe the War Chiefs gave me some extra distance on these late season birds. Great shells. I will use them again.

I recently bought a box of Warchief 20 ga #6 and pheasant hunted with them. They seem to kill very efficiently. I'll keep using them for sure.

Shot only these shells all week during the first season split, and they performed incredibly well over the salt marsh. They seem to have longer range over the legacy Boss shells, which are still outstanding. Thank you BOSS for continuing to push the envelope on shotshells!

I started shooting boss ammo last year in my 28 ga and was so impressed with how it performed that I bought some for my 20ga. I’m here to tell ya that whatever these guys are doing with this ammo is pretty impressive! I’m not old enough to have had shot lead years ago so I can’t compare it to lead but when it comes to steel boss patterns way better than steel and the shear knock down power of boss is crazy compared to steel! For sub gauge shotguns this is the only ammo I shoot! The other thing I like about boss is that it patterns well out of factory chokes… Unlike steel! Just love Boss ammo! Two big thumbs up!

Patterns drastically improved over all steel shot. No cripples since using these. Destroys ducks at my typical ranges of 30-50 yards. Everything about this shell is better on ducks and geese.

Very effective shell on everything from teal to speckle belly geese. Definitely getting 12 gauge performance with a 20 gauge.

These shells were recently used by my lady on her first ever Sandhill Crane hunt in southern Arizona. The Warchief ammo worked flawlessly in her Remington1187 20 ga. shotgun and put the hammer on the cranes.

I am very impressed with this load. My first 7 shots, I had seven ducks. I was amazed. I have shot this in my 20 gauge for a couple of years and Warchief seems be a better load than their regular loads, which have been excellent also.

20 ga 5s have been the ticket so far this season. Was very pleased with the legacy product as well but warchief seems to hit a little harder. Hopefully I'll need more soon!
