I am on my second case of 2 3/4 Warchief. This stuff is the real deal!! While Hunted yesterday in 20 mph winds with a buddy, he bragged about his ‘max gram’ steel loads. I killed my 6 ducks with 8 shots, he shot his six with 24 shots!! His only comment was “WOW that stuff hits hard!”He now is a believer 😀.

Shot the war chief #5 for opening weekend in Oklahoma. Literally not 1 shot at a cripple. Every duck was dead when it hit the ground

I held out on using them due to price. However, these 3” 3/5 Warchiefs are Priceless! My shot to bird ration greatly improved! I was starting to think my shooting sucked at which the jury’s still out on that. They truly are a game changer. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Boss

I use size 3's for geese. They really are effective with my Beretta 304A. They are just excellent.

Got the 2 3/4 warchiefs #3/5s and they got me my first limit of honkers and didn’t tear up the ducks at all. Used the legacy 4s and loved them too.

Absolutely worth every penny, and then some. I cant tell you how many one shot kills I've had with boss shells: most of the time birds fold and are dead before they hit the water. Really useful because I've got a new pup this season, so I dont have to worry about him getting used to the game with cripples / swimmers. Got a box of the early release warchief shorty 5s and used 'em for early season and loved them; have to get through a case of 200 of legacy Boss 3" 3/5s, then I'll probably switch to shorty 5s with a 3" #4 or 3/5 as my third shot for longer follow up shots. The shorty 5 is plenty of stopping power for birds in the spread

I have not had a chance to try the BOSS 3/5 shells yet, but I did gave some to a buddy who was heading to South Dakota on a duck hunt. He reported that they performed as good as his 3 inch steel loads.

Paired with a Muller choke, these shells performed awesome! Used them on a sea duck hunt and was dumping everything with one shot. Only had to water swat a couple birds. Definitely worth the money.

I was introduced to the Boss brand a few years ago. This is an exceptional quality shell, built by an exceptional company! They outperform steel at every level! In addition to a fantastic cartridge, the shipping is remarkably fast AND the Veterans price break is much appreciated!!! 12/28g hunter

This is my second batch of Warchief #5's. I bought just one box back in the summer and compared them to the #5's Boss legacy. I didn't want to spend the extra money unless I saw a difference. To mark a long story short, I saw a marked improvement in pattern density and consistency. Now I don't mind paying a few extra bucks.
