I used these this year during maryland early duck season. All my shots are within 30 yards, and they worked great.

Decided I wanted to use non toxic ammo for all of my hunting but it’s been hard to find a quality shell for woodcock and grouse that isn’t steel (I hate steel). As soon as I saw this shell I ordered a case. They were delivered fast and look just as good as any other Boss shell. I’ve had them out for three hunts so far and shot the biggest grouse I’ve ever seen along with 6 woodcock. All clean kills with no crippled birds, would buy again, and I hope they start loading #8 in 20 gauge and 16 gauge.

I've already gone through a bag of the Boss 28 gauge Copper-plated Bismuth shotshells and have ordered again, plus some to try for dove hunting here in non-toxic zones. When I find a pellet in a bird, I usually can still see the copper plating on it yet. It may be deformed a bit, but it did it's intended purpose for me! Thank you, Boss!
